Robyn Erler Featured

Robyn Erler is using her Green MBA degree to promote online activism and LOHAS lifestyles with Care2.com. As a Senior Campaign Manager with Care2, Robyn educates a wide audience of Internet users on how they can make a difference on a range of issues – from carbon emissions at home to human rights violations abroad. While working for The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation prior to the Green MBA program, Robyn saw the tremendous positive impact business can have on the world.  She began to take workshops in sustainable living and scour the Internet for green business programs (where she found the Green MBA website). While attending the Green MBA program, she built up a business development consulting practice called Expanding Circles. Her clients included: Organic Bouquet, Inc., Greener Printer, Fort Funston Marketing, New College of California, and The Deringer Group, Inc. Robyn cherishes the Green MBA program because if its innovative approach to education. Creativity is encouraged, alternate systems of organization are examined, and the success of the students is top priority for each faculty member. She relocated for the program in January 2004 and hasn't regretted her decision ever since. Robyn graduated in December of 2005.

What people are saying about the GreenMBA

"Learning how to "breakdown" a project has been a fabulous tool for me in business.  I am a Facilities/Project Manager by training and have to think "systemically" in my daily work day, however, getting fully engaged in a "project" for class and working on a "team" project takes you deeper into the process.  How to use systemics and critical thinking in determining whether a project is ready "for the street" or whether it needs to be drilled deeper to get the core of what will make it successful.  It's a study in chaos and systems planning.  I find myself thinking about who will be my next "test case" - or victim!!!"
